Adjectives wanted

Do you feel like you've got enough adjectives to describe anyone or anything in English?

If you don't, this can be the perfect post for you, partly because of the photo above: Adjectives wanted, and partly due to the fact that all we need is time. Yes, time to talk and assimilate so many adjectives and words.

More than anything else, we need dedication, patience and lot of hours using the language, that is, producing, writing and speaking English as longer as possible.

So, do you still think this is gonna be easy?

Practice on Adjectives:

On the other hand, there's always an original way of describing oneself. Here's a good example taken from Rosa's Blog.

Word-building or Word-formation

Basically, we could start off by studying some basic word-formation suffixes and prefixes, which will help you to guess the meaning and grammar of English words.

So, here's your WORD-FORMATION theory and practice to do your best at school. Remember that there are not magical RULES for word-formation, and it's only a question of practice and loads of English exposure.

Let's put it this way...it's time for more words... - no matter your level of English.

Learning a language is like building a house. We need plenty of bricks to be able construct a venue with well-laid foundations and suitable enough for our living expectations: good sights, full of light, and comfortable for our family. By the same token, to produce a fluent speech, it’s necessary to manage a whole array of words, which must be assimilated, practised and used regularly, rather than only translated into the target language. Word-building takes time and what’s even more important: suffixes and prefixes must be recognized; otherwise you won’t make the most of your word-building. For further word-formation practice, you’d better click on words, words, words.

What are humans like?

After getting to know each other, it's time for us to describe ourselves, don't you think?

Well, first of all we need some adjectives for describing people.  Human beings are different and that's what makes us so interesting and appealing to talk about.

Every single country and culture with its own features and qualities.  Let's point out our best strengths as individuals living in the same world! Any ideas to start with?

When we are describing people, adventures, things or facts, it's common for us to add some information and link sentences together, with what we normally call: Relatives or Relative Pronouns. Or even you need to talk about your next trip. For that, it's necessary to do some practice on Future tenses. Below, you'll find all the theory and practice to manage
